Josh Price made his British GT Championship debut with TF Sport onboard the #95 Aston Martin Vantage GT4, alongside teammate Patrick Kibble for the opening round of the 2019 season.
The opening round of the championship, running on Easter weekend saw a bumper British GT line-up in attendance, with 21 GT4 cars on the grid as Josh made his GT racing debut with TF Sport.
Qualifying saw Josh set the 12th fastest time in the GT4 PRO session and Patrick set the 6th fastest time in the GT4 AM Session, meaning they started 6th in class for the opening race of the season.
The two Aston Martin Academy drivers put in a strong performance in the opening race of the season, moving through the pack and settling well into the non-stop relentless nature of the split classes of GT racing.
The #95 had a clean race and showed solid pace to finish in a strong 5th position in class as the chequered flag fell on Josh's first race in the car and with the team.
Race 2 saw them start from 12th on the grid. The second race did not go to plan or run as smoothly as the first one sadly, where some technical issues and some on-track contact saw the #95 car finish 2 laps down and 18th in class.
Josh and Patrick made their first steps into GT racing in understanding the different style of racing they had to adopt, after moving across from BTCC and Ginetta Junior respectively.

We had a great Race 1 with both TF Sport and the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 on top form finishing with a strong points haul in P5.
We have now set our sights on Round 2 at Snetterton, aiming to get closer to that top step."
Round 2 of the 2019 British GT Championship will take place at Snetterton on the 18-19 May, where Josh will return to the cockpit of his Aston Martin Vantage GT4.
